Dusty's Story:

Dusty O'Neil joined Sunrise Basketball Academy in the Fall of 2025. Dusty is a graduate of Dodge City Community College, Fort Hays State University, and Kansas State University. At DCCC she was a member of the track and field team for both field and running events. While already earning an impressive amount of degree's, she is currently working towards her Doctorate Degree in Educational Technology from Kansas State University. Upon graduation from FHSU, Dusty has been a public educator in her hometown Montezuma (KS) at South Gray Elementary School and for the Hugoton School District. At Hugoton, she was in charge of the school's social media campaign to help rebrand the digital look of the district. Along with her teaching responsibilities, Dusty has also coached high school volleyball and 7-12th grade track and field. Dusty is working full time for SBA and Kansas United for their program's social media presence. Dusty and her husband Trey were married in Wichita in the summer of 2024.
